In many instances, there are also cultural components in the way that different groups relate to others and in the values held by those groups. Therefore, as an educator, I realize that even purely objective criticisms must be carefully expressed so as not to communicate prejudices or ethnic perspective on my part instead of genuinely well-intentioned advice based on principles.
I hope that as an educator, I will be able to communicate my philosophical views about what types of values and behaviors are respectable and admirable in ways that are perceived with the intention behind them rather than misunderstood. I recognize that it is my responsibility to achieve that goal.
